For Pullman on the Park Melbourne by Alta Architecture, Wautier Carpets created a custom Axminster carpet for the Grand Ballroom and adjoining mezzanine foyer, designed to bring scale, movement and a sense of occasion to this iconic Melbourne hospitality destination. An abstracted wing motif moves across an off-white ground in rich royal blue tones, punctuated by delicate gold flecks that evoke the appearance of metallic thread woven through the wool pile. Designed specifically for the hotel environment, the bespoke Axminster balances refined detailing and softness with the durability and performance required for high-traffic ballroom and event spaces.
