For On Point Mosman, a residence overlooking Quakers Hat Bay and shortlisted for the DAA Awards, Wautier Carpets created a bespoke area rug using Van Besouw 3802 in shade 422. Knitted from 100% cotton, 3802 is a beautifully soft moquette with a distinctive three-toned pile that reads as a sophisticated solid, allowing it to sit effortlessly alongside the home’s Scandinavian furniture, natural materials and expressive textiles. Its tactile surface brings warmth and softness while offering the durability required for everyday living. Custom made to suit the proportions of the space, the rug provides a quiet, textural foundation that complements the architecture without overwhelming its carefully considered interior.
