Tapis is a French word that means “carpet” or “rug.” It is often used to refer to decorative floor coverings that add aesthetic appeal and comfort to a space. The term evokes a sense of elegance and sophistication, making it a fitting name for our high-quality carpet collection.
The Tapis Collection by Wautier Carpets is a fusion of passion, vision, and craftsmanship—designed to meet the evolving needs of the luxury interiors market. Identifying a gap for bespoke, high-quality carpets that balance elegance and accessibility, we set out to create a collection that redefines modern carpet design.
Tapis can be created in any colour, any size, and shape and almost any fibre. We will ensure it is high performance and high density.

Creating the Tapis Collection grew out of a combination of passion, vision, and a desire to meet specific needs in the market. My love for interior design and textiles inspired me to create this unique and beautiful carpet collection.
