Introducing STUDIO, the collection of carpets and rugs crafted from 100% New Zealand wool, spun and processed in Italy using techniques more commonly associated with fine tailoring than flooring.

The distinction lies in the yarn itself. Before spinning, the wool is carefully combed to align the longest fibres, creating a worsted yarn that is smoother, stronger and more refined than conventional wool. The result is a surface with remarkable clarity, enhanced durability and a subtle lustre rarely associated with natural fibre floor coverings.

Much like an Italian suit, Studio derives its elegance from precision. The refined yarn construction allows each texture to be expressed with exceptional definition, whether in low cut pile, loop pile or sculptural high cut pile formations. The wool's natural resilience ensures long-term performance, while its smooth fibre alignment reduces fuzziness and creates a cleaner, more architectural appearance.

We believe that wool makes great carpets. Sheep grow new fleeces every year so wool is natural, renewable and biodegradable too. Wool is soft and warm but hard-wearing and naturally fire retardant. Wool fibres are naturally coated in lanolin providing stain resistance. For those that love shine, we hand-weave with the botanic fibre TENCEL™, winner of the “European Award for the Environment”.
